The Xavier Institute of Communications (XIC) is a professional media centre which offers a variety of services in training and production. The Institute is at two locations; the St. Xavier's College campus and the St. Xavier's High School campus, Mumbai.
XIC is an autonomous educational unit of the Bombay St. Xavier's College Society Trust, which comprises St. Xavier's College, the Institute of Management, the Institute of Counseling and the Heras Institute of Indian History and Culture.
By virtue of its course offerings and enrolments, XIC ranks among the biggest non-government media centres in Asia.

Media Resources Centre :
There are not many specialized Media libraries in the city. Cardinal Gracias Media Resource Centre, XIC's Media library is maintained specifically to compliment the media programmes offered by XIC. It is also open to students of media Institutes and media researchers.
Sound Studio :
The Sound studio provides post-production facilities for designing sound effects for film and video. The Sound studio serves the recording needs of religious groups, regional and folk music producers, educators, activists and media professionals.
Video Editing Studio :
The Editing system available is the Final Cut Pro - Version 4.5.

Facilities For Hire :
XIC offers on hire basis conference room, 32 Track Studio, a Mini Theatre and big hall to accommodate around 100 people at very affordable prices.
