The Sri Sri Centre for Media Studies, is a pioneering institution dedicated to catalyzing change in the media landscape. The 9 year old institute, located in the garden city of Bangalore aims to train students and turn them into talented media professionals, capable of positive social transformation.
Media being the Fourth Estate has a vital role to play in shaping of a democracy like ours. Besides being an exciting profession, it also provides opportunity to serve society - highlighting the needs and aspirations of countless people who have otherwise no voice.

SSCMS provides job opportunities to our students by methods such as organizing campus interviews with media houses and sending the resume of students directly to media houses. Only those students who perform well during the selection process will be placed with jobs. SSCMS does not guarantee placements to the students.
SSCMS alumni currently work in prestigious news organisations around the world, including the Los Angeles Times, The Times of India, Deccan Herald, Times of India Kannada, DNA, The Hindu, The Hindustan Times, The New Indian Express, Doordarshan, NDTV, Aaj Tak and Kairali TV.
Computer Lab: A place where the students work on Assignments, Research, Bringing out Newspaper- Monthly tabloid -Dateline Bangalore, Workshop Presentations, Online Journal (Web Journalism), practicing software, web browsing etc..
Digital Studio: For Documentary Film Making, Camera Operations, Video Editing, Voice Recording, Audio Mixer, Production, Post production techniques, News Anchoring
Library: SSCMS has a comprehensive library that has books in journalism, history and on a range of subjects by famous authors and scholars. SSCMS also subscribes to a number of dailies, journals and magazines. Students are required to spend at least two hours in the library each day.
