R L Institute of Animation & Media Studies was started in the year 2009 by Subbalakshmi Lakshmipathy College of Science with the idea of providing in-depth knowledge in the area of Animation and Media Studies.

Animation and Media Studies is critically emerged with the creative analysis, production and research into emerging forms of Media. The goal of our programme is to prepare students for well-paid jobs. RLIAMS consults regularly with leaders in industry and professionals,trying to understand contemporary developments, identify jobs and internship opportunities and pinpoint skills and knowledge which will help prepare their students for new opportunities.
