Manav Rachna College of Engineering (MRCE), Faridabad is a flagship Institution of Manav Rachna Educational Institutions (MREI) promoted by Uthan Educational Society, a Society registered under the Registration of Societies Act 1860. The College was established in the year 2004 and has been conducting 4 year B.Tech courses in various fields of Engineering & Technology apart from MBA & MCA. The Campus has been designed and constructed close to nature with splendid environs, aesthetics and eco-friendly atmosphere. It is ideally located in the hub of industry prosperous towns namely Gurgaon, Faridabad, Noida apart from National Capital Territory of New Delhi.

All courses being offered in the College are approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Government of Haryana and affiliated to Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak.

Infrastructure & Support Services:
E-Facilities:
The Institute is equipped with computing facilities in accordance with AICTE norms. All computers are connected to the internet with a bandwidth of 2Mbps. A range of e-services is available to students: internet on all computers, digital library, availability of course descriptions and course material on the intranet, e-feedback facility, e-submission of assignments, e-newsletter etc

Library:
The MRCE library, besides stocking prescribed text books and reference material, makes available a range of books on each subject as well as general material like biographies and literature. It also subscribes to several national and international journals, periodicals and newspapers. Adequate reading room facilities are available.

MRCE subscribes to IEEE, Springer, ASME and other national and international journals through INDEST. The College subscribes to DELNET (Digital Library Networking, which permits accessing more than 4 million online books and journals across the globe).

The library is fully computerized and follows the open access system. Photocopying facility housed adjacent to the library enables students to photo stat relevant material at a nominal price.

Digital Library Facility:
The College has approximately 825 CDs / DVDs of various subjects for students to self study.

Transport:
The College has a fleet of luxury AC/Non AC buses. In addition to providing transport for local students, it runs inter-city shuttle transport from Faridabad, Gurgaon and Delhi to the campus. Regular transport services are available between hostels & the campus.

Sports Facilities:
The College offers a wide range of indoor and outdoor sports facilities to its students. These include a shooting range, squash court, cricket ground, volleyball and basketball courts, billiards and pool facility etc.

They are exposed to experts from industry and academia to make them aware of current trends in technology. They also interact with the best and most accomplished personalities of the country who inspire them.

Extra and Co-Curricular:
MRCE students participate in inter-college festivals, both technical and cultural as well as organize EPIPHANY, our own annual cultural and technical festival. They run societies and clubs in association with bodies like IETE, IEEE, AIMA, FMA, and ISTE. Students participate in Infosys Campus Connect, The Great Minds Challenge Contest of IBM, technical contests of the Faridabad Industries Association, Indian Oil etc. MRCE students have been actively associated with TERI activities.

Our students have consistently won awards in contests and competitions. Deepak Gupta and Snigdha were declared as International Climate Champs’09 by TERI and The British Council. Latika Malhotra got the best speaker award in the Green Consumer Day organized by TERI. Vivek Bhardwaj and Niket Chowdhuri obtained the third prize in the Indian Oil-R&D Golden Jubilee Quiz.

Students are encouraged to work with faculty members to carry out research and a number of research papers have been published jointly with our students in Indian conferences.

The personality of students is enhanced by specialized soft skills trainers to make them more confident and employable.

Healthcare Facilities:
MRCE has a well equipped dispensary for first aid and minor medical services. We also have two state-of-the-art, well equipped ambulances to cater to any exigencies thus ensuring highest medical safety. The College has a tie-up with Sarvodaya Hospital, Faridabad for emergency cases.

Canteen & Cafeterias:
The MRCE has well stocked canteen and cafeteria, Yo! China, Nescafe, Hunger Cure etc., which provide daily necessities to students in hygienic environment and good ambience.

Power Backup:
MRCE is served by an independent HSEB feeder. In addition, standby power backup of 4.9MW is installed to ensure uninterrupted power supply to the entire campus including hostels.

Hostel Details

MRCE provides separate hostels for boys and girls. The hostels have well furnished rooms with many facilities like TV, PCs, telephone, as well as games like table tennis etc. The hostels have well managed & hygienic mess, where nutritional needs and taste of students is taken care of.
