Bharati Vidyapeeth has started Loknete Mohanrao Kadam College of Agriculture at Sonsal-Hingangaon Tal.Kadegaon Dist. Sangli in Septeber 2003 under the affiliation of Mahatma Phule Krishi Vidyapeeth, Rahuri Dist. Ahmednagar.The objectives behind starting this College was to provide opportunities of Degree courses in Agriculture to the students of this region and to make available recent technologies of agriculture to the farmers of this localitiy through extension programms.

The separate building section for office includes Principal’s chamber, meeting hall, staffroom for accountant & clerks window. Second floor of the same office is occupied by library. Every department is provided with two laboratories, individual staffroom, store room & museum. Campus is having its 100 acres of land holding, out of which 20 acres of land occupied by construction & remaining area is under crop cultivation of different agronomical crops, fruit orchards, vegetables, forest trees and different departmental projects like poly house, nursery, dairy unit, goat farm, grape vine yard, crop cafeteria, meteorological observatory, Dhanwantari garden, sericulture etc.

The boys hostel with three wings available in the campus having accomodtion of 400 students intake and also separate building for mess and recreation hall near hostel.

The girls hostel is located in Kadegaon with all ammunities having good facilities & accmodation of 200 girls, the travel luxury bus is readly available for conveyance of students to the college.
