LLRIET is a premier technical institution of Punjab, which was established by Shiva Educational Trust, MOGA in 1998.
LLRIET is affiliated to Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar and approved by A.I.C.T.E., New Delhi.
LLRIET believes in two word success theory "Work Works". It is dedicated in developing the budding engineers of India as highly skilled professionals who will be able to serve our nation more efficiently.
LLRIET has an independent Training & Placement Cell devoted to cater to the needs of organizations in conducting campus interviews for placements.
It is headed by a governing body, which comprises of Sr.TPO Mr. Kul Bhushan Bhatia Placement Coordinator. The Cell is also assisted by Student Placement Coordinators who lead a team of placement representatives from various courses of study. The Training & Placement Cell ensures and takes care to provide the best arrangements and hospitality for the visiting companies' officials.
Library:
Institutes has central library which cater the needs of students of all the branches and courses.
It is centrally air conditioned and has reading lounges having capacity of about 200 students. The library is stocked with 21,322 books, 104 national/international journals & magazines and 15 newspapers.
Gymnasium:
It is a center of attraction for all the sports lovers of the institutes. For the recreation and physical fitness of students, the gymnasium has been established separately both in girls and boys hostel.
Dispensary:
The college has its own dispensary which provides all medical facilities to the students.
