The Educational Society of Professionals and Vocationals was founded by like minded educationists, philanthropists and public spirited persons, dedicated to task of bringing about socio-economic transformations in keeping with the National Priorities. It was registered as a 'Charitable Institution' under the Societies Registration Act of 1860. The objective of the society has been to provide skilled manpower to support the vast development programmes, being implemented in the country. In turn it enjoined on the Society to establish, promote and propagate vocational and technical education programmes to provide the right kind of professional and skilled personnel needed. The Polytechnic Maintains A Regular Liasion / Contact Through Conferences, Get-togethers And Other Professional Media, With Export Houses, Business Houses,Industries, Embassies,Banks,Airlines, Hotels And Tourist Organisations To Help The Successful Students Secure Employment. In Cases Where The Students Want To Set Up A Free Lance Practice, The Polytechnic Helps Them To Do So.
For This Purpose A Regular Employment Register Is Maintained And The Students Are Required To Keep In Touch With The Employment Incharge.On-campus Interviews Are Also Conducted From Time To Time .
Prospective Employers Are Also Invited To A Display Of The Students' Work At The End Of The Sesion To Acquaint Them With The Professional Skills Of The Students.

The Library Is Equipped With About 2000 Books Related To All Fields Of Courses Available In The Polytechnic.
Many Important Magazines And Journals Related To The Various Courses Are Also Available.
The Annual Membership Fees For The Library Is Rs. 500 To Rs.1000, Depending On The Course.
A Compulsory Deposit Of Rs. 1000 Is To Be Paid Along With The Membership Fees . The Security Deposit Is Refunded After Clearance Of All Library Dues.
The Library Is Open For Students On Mondays To Saturdays From 11 A.M. To 7 P.M.
For students coming from outside Delhi or from neighbouring countries of Asia and Europe, a Fully equipped hostel in the charge of a resident lady warden, who is experienced in Hostel management and sympathetic towards hostellers, is maintained. The hostel enjoys a corporate community life, providing as it were a unit, a family looked through a magnifying glass. The sprit of comradeship is encouraged and occasional outings, picnics are arranged so that the hostel is "A home away from home". Necessary furniture consisting of a bed, chair and a study table would be provided besides an almirah. The expenses including rent, mess, common room etc. would aggregate approximately to Rs. 3400/- per month, payable in four instalments for the whole year, or eleven months as the case may be.
