ICICI Manipal Academy for Banking and Insurance (IMA) is a joint venture of ICICI Bank and the Manipal Group. The Academy has been set up to train selected personnel of ICICI Bank in order to ensure that they are 'Industry Ready' at the time of completion of the programme.

The thrust of the training is to impart functional knowledge of general management and specialized knowledge of banking related subjects. Programme participants are put through a very rigorous training with emphasis on application of knowledge and overall development of personality. The training at the academy is supplemented with practical training in various branches of the bank.

The campus is full fledged with self sufficient facilities for knowledge acquisition. IMA has an air conditioned library with over 14000 volumes, nearly 50 magazines & journals and large number of economic and general newspapers. It is open on all days till late in the evening. Text books are supplied to all new students on returnable basis. Reference books can be browsed in the library and can also be borrowed. There are interesting teaser schemes to induce and promote reading habits such as free newspapers, additional books for borrowings etc in select hours.

IMA has five computer labs open upto midnight everyday of the week. The number of desktops available to students is very large enabling a student: machine ratio of 3:1. The campus has a high broadband connectivit
