GLS Institute of Commerce, established in 2005, aims at providing quality education in the field of commerce with a mission to turn out well equipped and responsible citizens driven by a passion to carve out a niche for themselves in their chosen fields.
GLS Institute of commerce, one of the leading commerce colleges of Ahmedabad was inaugurated by Shri Narendra Modi, Honorable Chief Minister, Gujarat State. It was established in 2005 with a mission to turn out well equipped responsible citizens, ready to keep pace with global growth. We believe that the educational system needs innovation that responds to the needs of the students so that it is not a drudgery to be endured but an experience to be cherished.
GLSIC has already left behind it
The Students of GLSIC participated in various Inter College competitions, wherein they made their way upto the Semi Finals in the events like J.G.College of Commerce Mehndi competition, HLIC - 'Rock and Raga', as well as the IIPM Dance Competition.
Cultural Activities:
Besides good academic performance, the college also emphasize on overall development of the students by promoting their participation in the Inter-College Youth Festival. The students did make a satisfactory performance in their very maiden year. To its pride, our student, Silvi Sanghvi won the first prize for 'On the Spot Painting Competition'.
