The placement cell is an institutional arrangement in the college whose service is primarily extended to secure full time jobs to the final year students community.
The Placement cell provides information regarding higher education in India and abroad, job opportunities available in the market through its notice board, emails and brochures. It also extends its services by offering various trainings to the students on personality development and career development skills, etc. The database of the students are managed by the cell which plays a critical role in getting jobs for the alumni.

The Library’s primary mission is to serve the academic community with high-quality resources, services and act as a gateway to information to meet the needs of the institution’s diverse instructional, research and out reach programmes.
The Library housed in a sprawling 32,000 sq.ft.. three storeyed building provides a stunning range of library collections and information services to the teaching, research and service functions of the user community. ... >>Located in sylvan surroundings, the two block hostel facility is a home away from home for many students. The hostel facility of the college was started in 1948, by our beloved founder, Shri. V.L. Ethiraj. In those years, when women’s education itself was rare, hostel founder went the extra mile and thought about the security of the women who take to higher education. So benevolently gave away his house that was situated within the campus premises to be converted to a hostel.
Started for 169 students and teachers, the hostel facility of Ethiraj
College has now been enhanced to include two individual blocks (one each for PG and UG inmates) situated with in the college premises and can accommodate 370 Indian and Foreign Nationals and NRI’s.
