Now they have started a college of Engineering by name "East West Institute of Technology" which operates from the new 20 acre campus off Magadi Road, 10KM form Bangalore Central Bus Station and Railway Station.

East - West has introduced several undergraduate courses besides post graduate courses such as MCA, MBA, M.Sc. (Biotechnology), M.Sc. (Microbiology), etc.

These courses are affiliated to Bangalore University and approved by All India Council for Technical Education, Ministry of HRD, New Delhi.

The Engineering courses introduced under the affiliation to the Visveswaraiah Technological University include BE courses in Computer Science, Information Science and Technology, Electronics and Communication Engineering. All courses are provided with the necessary infrastructure as per the requirements of the Universities and AICTE - such as well equipped labs, Air Conditioned Computer Room, spacious library, Seminar Hall, Auditorium, separate hostels for girls and boys.

Training and Placement cell:

EWGI is one of the pioneering institutes having a full fledged placement cell and a full time placement officer in the very second year of its inception. The cell, besides providing placement assistance through campus selection also helps students with career counseling. The cell has been interacting with the leading companies and arranging necessary training to the students in the emerging technologies practiced in the industry. Through seminars, workshops and group discussions on relevant topics, conducted at regular intervals, the students are provided with information on the wide variety of topics ranging from technology to avenues available for higher studies in India and abroad and career opportunities in various organizations.

Cultural Activities:

 EWGI knows and subscribe to the adage that 'All study and no play makes jack a a dull boy'. In other words, an all-round personality development needs, besides curricular activities, a requisite dose of sports and cultural activities as well. EWGI, encourage students to take part in intra and inter collegiate competition in sports and cultural activities. In its existence of such a short period, our students have already won several laurels in both the fields making us visible in the city among various Institutes of similar standing. Campus Canteen:

The campus canteen located in a strategic place serves delicious food at moderate rates. Copious amount of good drinking water is available in the campus. Water softeners and purifiers are provided in the main building at easy to access locations.

Transportation:

The Institute is well connected to various parts of the city by the public transportation system. Besides, EWGI also plies its modern buses and vans to various locations in the city to cater to the needs of faculty and students. 

Tei-up with university of plymouth:

An MOU between EWGI and University of Plymouth, UK has been signed for conducting joint UG & PG programmes.

Separate hostels are available for both boys and girls, while the former is situated on the campus the latter is situated close to the head office in the city. The quality of food, its variety, nutritive values and hygiene and the discipline of the inmates are being carefully monitored by the Warden of the Hostel. There exists facilities for indoor and outdoor games. Doctors visit hostels regularly to monitor the health of inmates.
