The Bharati Vidyapeeth’s College of Architecture(BVCOA), Navi Mumbai was established in 1992. The college was functional in the shared premises at Belapur campus of Bharati Vidyapeeth.

For the degree courses, BVCOA is affiliated to the University of Mumbai and is approved by the Council of Architecture(COA). The college is also affiliated to Maharashtra State Board for Technical Education(MSBTE) for the diploma course. The courses offered under the umbrella of B.V.C.O.A are 5 years degree courses- B.Arch (Bachelor of Architecture), with intake capacity of 80 students, B.Arch I.D.( Bachelor of Architecture major Interior Design) with the intake capacity of 40 students and a 3-year part time diploma course in Interior Design and Decoration (IDD) with intake capacity of 60 st

It is because of the visionary effort put forward by the management and we all, our institute is able to extend its peripherals and help it to grow & develop its infrastructural facilities, add new courses & initiate the thoughts to begin post graduate courses.

Starting from current year i.e. 2010, YCMOU study center for its Post Graduate Courses in Architecture for the courses of Urban & Regional Planning AND Environment architecture has been introduced in B.V.C.O.A, Navi Mumbai.

Students can use this facility for making applications to employers hiring from the college, communicating with the placement office, participating in on-campus / off-campus recruitment drives of employers. Besides opportunities this facility has a knowledge center that includes a career guidance section, resume and interview preparation sections provided by the college for benefit of students. New articles on these subjects are posted on college notice board on a regular basis. In addition students have access to career counselors, online quizzes and tests and a national level job vacancy database.

The College boasts of the largest collection of titles (approximately 5200 as on August 2010) and periodicals related to Architecture and allied fields. This library functions on a single window, direct accessibility to students and staff on an equal footing and operates beyond college hours to allow its extensive use. The accessibility is supported by requisite software allowing greater functional efficiency. The library is in the process of becoming a center for data resource which shall document and record various academic and research activities conducted by the college.

Canteen:

The campus canteen is centrally located in the campus and serves all campus students and staff. An indoor sitting capacity of almost 100 is augmented by a semi-open sitting area of almost the same capacity.

Computer Lab:

The Computer lab houses state-of-the-art equipment and has 24X7 Internet facilities accessible to all. It enhances the study experiences of the students as it allows them to learn various design, drafting and rendering application softwares used at various stages in the five years of their curriculum.

Construction Yard:

Activities of the Construction yard are integrated with the existing landscape and surroundings of the campus. Thus the various structures built as a part of this activity serve more than just being stand alone entities and get used by everyone in the campus. This activity enhances the open spaces and allows further exploration by the architecture students. The construction yard is located in the open space adjacent to the canteen and the college. It lends a distinctive sense of belonging by imparting a unique identity to the foreground of the college entry.

The college has additional facilities of Survey Lab, Climatology Lab, Photography lab, material and Equipment lab, etc which support the academic curriculum. The College also has AV facilities and large Seminar Hall. The Material testing lab and workshop is shared with the Engineering College..

The College campus within its expanses also includes hostel facilities for both boys and girls. These hostels have been designed by well known architects and are fully equipped with ancillary facilities of common rooms, sports, etc including a full-time dining facility
