A good library is one of the foremost requirements of any educational institution. The College library is located in a huge, seperate building and has a collection of over 22,000 books. The college subcribes to about 36 magazines, periodicals and newspapers. The spacious reading room can accommodate a large number of students. In addition to this, additional books are made available to the students in the departmental library(particularly in commerce

In addition to this, additional books are made available to the students in the departmental library(particularly in commerce). The college has made arrangements for a book bank facility under which deserving students are lent a set of books for the period of a whole semester.

Auditorium:

Basaveshwara College has the Basava Sbhangana in the main building of the Sangha. It is used for conducting cultural programmes and such other functions. It has a seating capacity of 250. In addition to this, the college also has a seminar hall with a seating capacity of about 400 for conducting various programme amd also arranging lectures and workshops. This year an AV room is also planned to conduct small group functions and to facilitate the use of modern technological equpiment to aid teaching.
