Located in the Amritapuri Campus of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, the Amrita School of Biotechnology which was founded in September 2004, has already established its presence as a preferred institution of higher learning in Biotechnology and related areas. The School offers Undergraduate programmes in Biotechnology and Microbiology as well as Postgraduate programmes in Biotechnology,Bioinformatics, and Microbiology. The School also offers a cutting-edge Ph.D. programme that provides extensive training to students in developing themselves as competent scientists of the future.
