Aman Bhalla Institute of Engineering and Technology (ABIET), Kotli Pathankot was established in 2008 under the aegis of Aman Bhalla Foundation with the aim of providing high quality education in Engineering and Technology to the students of the country, especially from Punjab including in and around Pathankot i.e. J&k and Himachal Pradesh. This institute also has the vision to expand its activities in other streams of education like Management, Law, Nursing and paramedical sciences in the near future. The foundation aims to be the best education hub in the region.

It is a self-supporting, self-financed and privately managed institute developed on a 100-acre piece of land. AIET is situated on the main Pathankot-Amritsar national highway about 10 km from Railway station/

Academic knowledge is imparted by highly qualified and eminent teachers with the active support of other trained staff exposing the students to current industrial aspects through Industry-Institute interaction at appropriate levels.

·    Computer Science engineering (60 seats). 

·    Mechanical Engineering (1200 seats) 

·    Information Technology (60 seats). 

·    Civil Engg. (60 seats).

AIET is affiliated to Punjab Technical University (PTU), Jalandhar. It is recognized by the Govt. of Punjab and all courses are approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi.

Canteen:

Aman Engineering College is equipped with a modern canteen that is operated by the management. It provides the students and the faculty with nutritious and hygienic vegetarian  food. Snacks and soft drinks are also available. Modern cooking equipments have been installed with the aim of providing wholesome food.

Gym Facility:

College has provided gym facility within the campus with state of the art equipments.

The library and information centers strive for high quality of library services which emphasis the actual delivery of information rather than actual delivery of documents for meeting their generic as well as specific needs of the users.

Aman Engineering College encourages every student to use the library that has been carefully built up since the inception of the college. At present this library has a stock of 57,000 volumes of books and about 5000 back volumes of scientific and technical periodicals. The library also subscribed to over 271specialized journals, of which 21 journals are from overseas countries.  The Aman Engineering College library follows the open access system, encouraging the user to brose freely in the stock area.

Standard text books and books by authors of repute in all fields taught at the college are stocked.  The college follows a policy of buying multiple copies of many of these books to make them available to a large number of students.  There is no question of budget approval when it comes to the buying of books.  Thus students are not likely to be handicapped for want of reference materials at any time.
